    How to use

    1. Naming Logic (The Matrix)

    The SKU is automatically generated based on a "Smart Matrix" to ensure consistency across marketplaces:

    • Supplier (2 chars): First 2 letters of the supplier name.
    • Marketplace (1 char): US=1, DE=2, UK=3. Others = First letter.
    • Category (1 char): Beauty=A, Home=B, Electronics=C. Others = First letter.
    • Brand (3 chars): First 3 letters of the Brand name.
    • Type (3 chars): First 3 letters of the Product Type.

    Example: GL2A-AWE-SMA-BLK-M (Global Supply, DE, Beauty, AwesomeBrand, Smart Phone, Black, Mid-Tier)

    2. Data Management

    • Importing: You can import old v18 CSVs. The app strictly follows the "Comma" or "Semicolon" format you select.
    • Exporting: Regular backups are recommended. "Export JSON" saves everything (including invoice links). "Export CSV" is great for Excel analysis.
    • Safety: Data lives in your browser (IndexedDB). Clearing your cache will delete it unless you export first!

    3. Invoice Linking Workflow

    Method A (Single Link): Click the 📎 icon on any SKU row. Select "Attach from Google Drive" to pick a PDF. The file ID is saved, so the link works even if you rename the file later.

    Method B (Bulk Link): Go to the "Invoice Library" tab. Upload an invoice once. Click "Link SKUs" and check the boxes for all 10-20 items on that invoice. This is much faster for large orders.

    SKU & Invoice Manager – Help Guide

    1. What this tool is for

    This tool is used to generate, store, and manage Amazon SKUs consistently. It ensures SKU structure stays correct and avoids duplicates. Invoices can be linked to each SKU for accounting and tax purposes.

    2. How to create a SKU

    1. Fill in Supplier, Brand, Product, Marketplace, Category, and Price Tier.
    2. Add variation attributes if required (size, color, model).
    3. Click Generate & Save SKU.
    4. The SKU will appear in the table below.

    3. Editing or deleting SKUs

    • ✏️ Edit icon: update SKU details.
    • 🗑️ Delete icon: permanently removes the SKU.

    4. Invoices (📎 icon)

    • Click 📎 to attach invoices to a SKU.
    • You can paste a Google Drive link or pick a PDF from Drive.
    • The number next to 📎 shows how many invoices are linked.

    5. Import / Export

    • Export CSV / JSON: download all SKUs as backup.
    • Import: upload previously exported files.
    • SKUs are checked to avoid accidental overwrites.

    6. Common troubleshooting

    • No SKUs visible: Make sure you unlocked the app and imported data if this is a new browser.
    • Google Drive login does not appear: Disable ad blockers and allow popups.
    • Attach icon missing: Refresh once and ensure you are on the latest version.
    • Password issues: Clear browser storage and reload.

    7. Important rules for VAs

    • Never manually invent SKUs.
    • Always use Generate & Save SKU.
    • Do not delete SKUs unless instructed.
    • Always attach invoices if available.
